Term 3 I am WARRIOR !
Happy New Year and welcome back.
We hope that you have all had fun researching and creating your projects based on our new topic, which is about the Romans.
We are looking forward to seeing you all and all of your hard work.
Literacy: This term we will be reading the book Escape From Pompeii to inspire our writing. It tells the story of a young boy and his friend, who escape from a volcanic eruption. We will be writing newspaper reports and diary accounts and some poetry. The story can be found below, for you to read.
Spelling: Scroll down on this page to find the year 3/4 spelling list which we continue to consolidate. We will also be doing weekly spelling investigations.
Our history focus this term will be the an exploration into the lives of the Romans and their legacy, exploring a variety of evidence to gather information about key leaders, including mosaics!
Through geographical inquiry, we will be comparing the physical geography of Italy and Great Britain, such as land features, including volcanoes, mountains and rivers.
