Regional Finals - Football

Boys and Girls Represented Oxford City and United
Thursday was a busy day for our footballers.
Our boys were up early and in school for 07:30 to represent Oxford City in the National League Trust Finals in Woking.
Jordan from Oxford City FC drove us to the venue where we competed against other regional champions from accross the South of England.
We performed fantastically on a bright sunny day, scoring some incredible goals (including one from the half way line!) and managed to finish 4th in our group, just missing out on the Semi-Finals in a close last group game.
The boys were magnificent and should be extremely proud for making it this far.
On the same morning two of our girls joined together with our sisters at Our Lady's to represent Oxford United at a regional Premier League Primary Stars final in Swindon.
The girls travelled with Mr French from Our Lady's and Ellie Kate from our school and performed brilliantly, coming 8th out of 16 schools!
A fantastic performance from both of them, with Olivia scoring an incredible goal.
It was great to do something together and show the power of the Catholic schools in Oxford
