Access Friendly Days at The Story Museum are open to all, but there are adjustments made to make it a comfortable visit for everyone. The lights are brought up, and the sound is brought down; we provide break-out spaces for anyone who might need to step away for a moment. Entry is timed to manage numbers.

It’s also free flow throughout the Museum, meaning families can access both the main Galleries and Small Worlds on a single ticket entry (normally Small Worlds is a session-led space for the under-fives only).

Families with children and young people of all ages are free to explore at their own pace.
