Today we took two teams, one of Y3s and one of Y4s to the Swan School for a football competition.

Our children were up against teams from Wood Farm and Frideswide schools and performed brilliantly.

This was the first time our Y3s had represented the school and they managed to come away with a good record, winning 1 and drawing two games whilst learning how to position themselves and work as a team - something they are still getting to grips with.

Our more experienced Y4 boys won all of their games comfortably and lifted the trophy. We used it as a good opportunity to rotate players around so other people got a chance in goal too.
