The last week has seen 4 big football events at St John Fisher,

First our Y4 girls visited Wood Farm for their first league match of the season, it was a fantastic game and we came out on top scoring 10 goals!

Then our U11 boys visited for a much tougher game, where we came out 5-2 winners.

We have also played in the two Oxford wide tournaments at The Oxford Academy. Our boys were fantastic only losing one game, but sadly getting knocked out on goal difference after three wins and a narrow defeat - they played incredibly and were very unlucky not to progress as were one of the strongest teams on the day.

Our U11 girls then took part with Ciarra taking them, they were fantastic, going through their group unbeaten before narrowly losing out 1-0 in a close semi-final, but recovering to win a third place play-off.

Fantastic performances all round, and a special note to Oonagh and Sushankya who were in the Y6 team whilst still in Y4!
