On Thursday, VE day, we celebrated World Peace by welcoming the Sri-Chimnoy Peace Run into school.

These batons, which were held by Pope Francis, are constantly moving around the world to spread the message of peace.

On Thursday we met (St) John Henry Newman school to receive the torch on its way through Oxford and then onto London and Europe.

We welcomed them into our school and they shared their story and gave every child an opportunity to hold the torch.

They have taken some of our CST work with them to share with children across the world
