This morning, in the blazing sun, a group of 12 children from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Oxford City Quad Kids Finals.

This involves running 600m, throwing a howler, standing long jump and then a 75 metre sprint.

Much like a heptathlon or decathlon, each time or distance receives a points score and then the top four boys and girls scores are collated together.

As a school we were amazingly consistent and finished second in the city, which means we have qualified for the County Finals in July.
