We firmly believe in the positive influence of sports and its ability to foster teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Our projects, "Just Ballin" and "Basketball for All", aim to provide youngsters in the Oxford area with a safe and inclusive environment to discover and develop their basketball skills.

The Oxford Elite Basketball Academy, funded by The Angus Irvine Playing Fields Fund, is partnering with Access Sport UK, Active Oxfordshire, You Move, and Greyfriars Catholic School Oxford to bring to our community an amazing opportunity.

"Just Ballin" is designed specifically for boys and girls aged 9-14, providing them with an opportunity to learn and play basketball in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Sessions are held every Monday at Greyfriars Catholic School in Oxford from 17:00 to 19:00, between January and October 2024 and in Carterton between February and October 2024. Through structured drills and friendly competitions, we aim to nurture a love for the sport while promoting physical fitness and mental agility.

The cost will be FREE for all YOUMOVE card holders and only £4/session for non YOUMOVE card holders.

For older students boys and girls, aged 14-17, we offer "Basketball for All" This project aims to cater to all players as well as beginners looking to explore the game of basketball  Sessions take place every Saturday from 12:00 to 14:00 at Greyfriars Catholic School in Oxford, providing an ideal opportunity for students to improve their basketball skills and connect with peers who share a passion for the sport. 

We are excited to announce that our inaugural session for "Basketball for All" will be held on the 20th of January 2024 from 14:00 to 17:00 at Greyfriars Catholic School in Oxford.

The cost will be FREE for all participants.
