In Year 2, we have been exploring The Great Fire of London.

We had an incredible time discovering facts about this historic event.

We then built our own Tudor houses, and finally, on Wednesday we had the opportunity to watch Miss McCarthy set fire to one of the houses, so that we could see how quickly the fire spread. In 1666, it took 5 days for the fire to be put out as all of the houses were so close together.
